Black & White Cake. Bottom and top tier are white champagne With Raspberry filling, Middle cake is Red Velvet with a cream cheese filling. White fondant was used to cover the cakes that were lightly iced with a white champagne butter cream. The rope is braided fondant and the scrolling is left over ribbon from the Brides bouquet.

Martha I buy ribbon where ever I can find it. The ribbon on the black and white cake was purchased from Hobby Lobby.
This cake caught my eye right away. Very, very pretty! I am trying to find a source for the ribbon that you used. If it wouldn't be inappropriate, might I ask where you (or the florist) got it? I don't pipe well at all and definitely not in black. I have been asked to do a black, white and red cake and all of the pictures they sent me had lots and lots of scrollwork. I can find this exact ribbon in about 1/2" width, but nothing any wider. Thank you in advance and again, beautiful work on this cake.
