Yes, you won't believe how easy it really is! I used a #12 tip, and did big dots in a vertical row, then you take your cake spatula, press the rounded tip into the middle of the dot and just smear it to the right. Then you make your next row over the top of the ends. That's it! It's a little time consuming, but anyone could do it. When I get to the end, I just do the best I can to blend it, but there is definitely a back side of the cake. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions. Melanie are you willing to share how this technique was achieved? I'm assuming you used a petal flower tip and piped from top to bottom?
