Oh, I also did stuff the inside with cotton balls to let them dry overnight so they would keep there shape while drying. However, i dont recommed using the cottonballs lol, they stuck to the inside of the shoes, so if you can use tissue paper that might be better, the cottonballs just happened to be all i had.

Megan, these are made out of gumpaste, (i use fondant with tylose powder added). I used a templete to cut out the booties then "glued" them together with water. I found them fairly easy todo, just make sure you make extra soles. I didnt realize it until i put them side by side that i made two of the same shoe. I made the soles the day before & let them dry overnight so they were easier to handle. there are youtube videos you can watch, just search for gumpaste baby shoes. thats how i learned. then I had to do a search for gumpaste baby shoe template for the pattern to print to use to cut the gumpaste, hope this helps

How did you make these? They are adorable and I'd love to make some for a baptism cake I am doing June 13th. Are they made with fondant?
