It's just Buttercream and yes fondant. I used a square cutter and the fondant puffed out a bit on it's own with each press, I liked the look it gave it. Easier than it looks - I've only been doing cake for a fondant cakes for a month
just love how much detail you have done on this cake...must have taken you ages!!!! What did you cover your cakes with???, buttercream or ganache or something else?, then obviously fondant...........perfect :)
