Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

The cake was 14 inches long and 7 inches wide. One recipe of the pound cake made one layer, and I made two layers, so that was a dozen eggs. It was heavy.

Thank you Lorraine...it's just an old ladies brain that still thinks like a kid! lol I actually wanted stuff for my grandson to play with after the party, so I had a foam mattress that I had already made in advance along with a little pillow and pillow case and blanket. The only things edible on this cake is the actual bed and pillow. All the rest is stuff I made from a paper site on line or in paint on the computer, and the rest of the toys are added so that he could play with everything after we ate his cake. If you look through my pictures, you will see the other elements that I added that I made.

how did you manage to come up with this idea, it's brilliant and I think your garden theme cake is great so many different things to look at.
