a simple wedding cake

my very first fruit cake - no alcohol grape juice used in place.

crumbed coated with strawberry jam and covered in a very thick layer of fondant. Pre done calla lilies - done in ivory and hand dusted with petal dust to get the colour. The frills were done in the same colour as the cake and dusted to achive the graded shade. Bride and groom at top it not edible was added to the cake as a souvenir / keep sake for the couple
