This was the first time I used wafer paper. I printed on it using my printer that is dedicated to edible printing, Cut out the shapes and gave them a fondant centre.
I also printed onto a frosting sheet and made some edible ribbons!

How lovely - he'll be taking a bit of home comfort with him.  And who cares what the kids eat - the cake was for the parents' anniversary!

It was only an 8" cake and it was primarily for the husband and wife as none of the kids will eat fruit cake. LOL. I like fruit cake, especially if you heat it up and have it with custard. Yummmmm. But technically it could have served about 32 people.
It happens that this customer keeps coming back year after year so although it was just for the two of them, I know that he will be taking some with him when he goes back to driving his truck. He drives a semi trailer up and down the east coast of NSW.

Love it! Bettina, it just oozes 'class'! How many did this end up feeding?
