No....they are actually glass marbles.  She supplied them to me although I didnt want to use them, She wanted them on the cake.  The other bubbles are balloons I blew up tight and cut off.  The lady I did this for was a good friend otherwise I wouldnt have done it with the supplies she gave me.  I used buttercream to frost the cake, some buttercream dots, candy pearls and the ball separators are from wilton.
