Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Here are all three cakes for her wedding. Her Mom ordered the sheet at the last minute since more relatives were coming than expected. The grooms cake is supposed to be somewhat of a take on the portal cake from the game Portal.

That sheet was a 11X15 two layer cake and I divided it into 48 slices, and with it being two layers, the pieces were plenty big enough and very moist being two layers.

Very good job! on all  three but the chocolate looks to yummy! can I ask how many serving did you get out of your sheet cake? and is it a 18x12 or 11x 15

Thank you Ruby...there is nothing like good old fashioned butter cream on a cake. I would take that over fondant any day.

Love all three Linda. Your ruffles are perfect on the sheet cake. That's the Wilton teacher coming out of me. I taught that technique in class. Great job as usual.

Thank you Zeeniya and Ellen. I was exhausted after this cake. Those frills aren't hard, but they sure are time consuming!

Never can have too much cake at a wedding! Beautiful wedding and sheet cake. Chocolate looks yummy!
