Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

My client placed her order all the way from Texas and then flew in for her granddaughters 1st birthday. I was so excited to make this one. I got a few pics as ideas but really all the mom wanted to be included was cards, big bow and clock. Grandma wanted inside of the cake to be pastel colors. The little smash cake was chocolate as the dad has turned his princess into a chocolate lover. The client really made me feel proud with her various posts about this cake. I am so glad I exceeded her expectations. It's moments like this that matter!

Thanks much Sandra.  When I started out I knew I had a few things which I needed to include in the design but as I looked at the task at hand the ideas just started to flow.  The diamonds and hearts started the design and yes it took a while but so worth the outcome.  I am so happy I got the opportunity to do my 1st Alice in Wonderland cake and that they turned out successful.

Both caskes are lovely!  It is hard to make "Alice" elegant, but you succeeded!
