The story on this is that my Aunt Diane was a childrens book author who died of cancer last year. She was one of many storytellers we have in the family and took an opportunity every year to give all the cousins the 'condom talk'. She wrote 7 books, 5 of them children stories that my kids now enjoy. The cake was a tribute to her.
