1930 Ford Car Cake

407F The 1930 Ford Model A car topper took a week to make all out of gumpaste & rice krispies. The headlights actually light up, the wheels move, back & front seats & canvas looking hood made out of gumpaste outline with stitching wheel, steering wheel & reg. wheel cut from circle cutters, speedometer inside car too. Template out of paper was needed to make this car. Edible photo of Ford logo along with edible photos of family. Car is resting on a fondant to replicate a cobble stone floor. Best of show contest ribbons with medallions all made out of fondant. Decorations were airbrushed & textured with stitching tool. Wood border was made with candy molds. The car was very detailed.
