Thanks Jeri. We're well out of the areas that are flooding, thankfully. My brother lives in the Town that was first hit by the flash flood. He and his family were in town an hour before it hit - they would have been right in the middle of it had their grocery shopping taken longer! My sister in law also worked in one of the shops that was flooded too...it's not there anymore. If you have seen the footage where the four wheeled drive is being swept along past the Repco store - that was where she would normally park her car!

Grantham, the town next to Toowoombah had THREE minutes warning before the waters hit them. That was where many of the houses and families were affected. There were two storey houses that had flood waters up to their roof!

The rivers came up here but we didn't have too much flooding, thank goodness.

NICE job!!!   I have been wondering about you if you are ok... have any of the floods been close to you???
