The cake was crumb coated and iced in American style buttercream. The decor was a combination of Lambeth, over piping and a little bit of string work, with rosettes and leaves. All of this was done in white, and then I went over everything with the airbrush using pearl colours to make everything "shine". The character is a buttercream transfer done my way (not frozen then transferred, but fresh then transferred to a chilled cake and left to set directly onto the cake), and the lettering is over piped.
