Thanks Goreti, my friend Kimmie decorates cakes really well, and she had suggested that I should use a bigger tip when writing. It does help some, I just need more practice I think

Pretty cakes Penny...Sometimes I have trouble with my writing too when my icing isn't thin enough. I seem to write better on smaller cakes then the larger ones, to much space to work with I guess.:))

Very pretty--I'm terrible when it comes to writing on cakes.  Some people actually do it with a toothpick first and then pipe over it.  I don't do much with buttercream and when I do I just don't write. lol

thanks Sandra.  I have nice handwritting normally, but when I  try  to write on the cakes, I need more practice..
