Hi JRW, I attached the meringues with a thin layer of royal icing. In France this is there national wedding cake except it's made of small choux balls instead of the meringues. I had the idea in the middle of the night as you do !!!!!! to use meringues instead, looks more weddingy.

It not only looks gorgeous, it also sounds incredibly delicious! How did you attach the meringues?
