Sorry, I only explained how I made the headphones. The microphone is a toothpick, a lump of gum-paste hand formed into the shape of an old microphone. The black strips of

gum-paste were made from a clay extruder and glued on with gum-paste glue. The base is just a round disk of gum-paste. The silver is lemon extract and nu-silver petal dust.

Hi Patricia F., I made them from gumpaste. If my memory serves me, I cut a strip of black gumpaste and rounded the ends. Next I the wrap the strip around a cup or a plastic container and let it dry. ( cut 2 in case the one should break). I looked at my husband old headphones and formed a half circles then took a rolled snake like piece of gumpaste and glued it on, using a fondant tool with the pointy end (dresden?) and made the indents on the snake like ribbon around the dried half circles. I use gumpaste glue to attach everything together. I hope this makes sense.
