3 tier mini cake
Finally I was able to get my hand on small cake tins that should enable me to make smaller tier cakes. This cake can feed 12. It's not easy so I have to figure out how to make it stable as that
was my major issue.

Well I was given these dowel straws, and I have to say, I was surprised how hard & sturdy they were. So much easier pushing into the cake. :o)

I used dowel rods as my straws are lost somewhere in my kitchen. It still was a leaning tower! I wonder if the straws will work better?

Did you put dowels or cake straws in your cakes Christina?? That makes them pretty stable. What are the tin sizes? Hard to tell just from the picture. :o)
