A mix of fondant & modeling chocolate. These little guys will go on top of a birthday cake, which I will make tomorrow. Just wanted them to have a little time to dry & firm up. I have taken the heads off for now, since they are so heavy. Decided not to use RKT for the heads, think the kiddies will like this better. Each little one at the birthday party sleepover, will have her own personal little kitty to eat. These were fun to make.

I know I would not have eaten mine because I would have wanted to keep it!
Thanks Sandra! They were fun to do, and my critics were quite forgiving here! Her mommy said they all enjoyed having one of their own. I wander if anyone besides Jordan actually ate them??? lol Jordan & Ethan kind of grew up eating mommom's fondant, every chance they got!
The whole cake is precious! Brilliant use of the grass tip making carpet. Such a pretty pink color, too! Jordon has good taste.
These are simply adorable!! Why am I just now seeing these? You KNOW I would love them!
'The Pink Kitty' Cake, according to Jordan's cake order. These are still not totally decorated yet, I left the rest at the house for Jordan to put on. Bunch of pink bubblegum sticks, colored spaghetti, and chocolate & colored balls to fill feeding dish, and the bowl carried by mom on the bottom right. If I can get pic of that, I will add it. A doctored chocolate cake with pink vanilla buttercream. I used the end of the grass tip to roughen up the 'carpet' they are playing 'cat & mouse' on. Kitties are a combo of fondant with tylose added, & modeling chocolate.ALL have pink on them somewhere! lol The white one has a pink nose... These are my first attempts at kittens, and they WERE fun to make!
Mine too! Thanks Betty!!
All so cute but my favorite ...the one with tail up. :)))
