The process that works best for me is to lightly grease the mat, roll out your gumpaste or fondant , then before you cut stick the entire mat in the freezer for a few minutes. After several minutes pull out put in your machine and cut your design....then stick in the freezer again to firm it back up before you lift off the mat. I usually have 2 mats working at once so I always have one in the machine and one in the freezer. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions just let me know!

Thanks.  Could you give me some tips on how to use it.  I have one, I purchase it last year.  I have not use it.  I tried one time didn't work.

Thanks Mary! I used the Cricut  and the Elegant cakes cartridge..I believe, I will double check that!
