I used Decorator Frosting for the flowers. It dries hard enough to be able to pick them up, but they are still soft enough to eat.

Thanks. I've had a lot of practice...and a lot of boo-boos over the years.

Linda, this is FABULOUS!  Your flowers are so beautiful (I wish I could pipe them like that............)

Yes Linda

I would be interested. I don't make a lot of bc flowers, but do some. Also I could see the application of piping.  I will send you a friend request and you can give the recipe. Very appreciated. Thank you for sharing.   :o)

It's kind of a cross between a buttercream and a royal frosting. Stiffer than buttercream, and it air dries so that it can be handled easily for placement. It seems to soften once it is on the cake, and it tastes pretty good too. I'd be happy to share the recipe if you are interested.

This is so very pretty.  May I inquire exactly what you mean by "Decorator Frosting?"  That can mean different things to different people.     :o)
