I see... thanks for the tip I'm going to make a wedding cake next month and I love your design. The flowers really give it a beautiful pop of color. Thanks again!

we taped the stems and inserted them into straws to place them in the cake. I am waiting for the better pictures. this one was taken with a cell phone

Hi Jean, your pic. is a little dark, but the cake looks beautiful. I have a question about the flowers you used, are they natural flowers?  I am a novice baker and I have always thought that it is not safe to use natural flowers on a cake, unless they are edible flowers. Now I can't make out which flowers you used beside roses and I want to know how you can I guess "sanitize" or which flowers are okay to use on a cake. Please advise.
