Buttercream Cake Contest

100% buttercream wedding cake :). This was donated to a couple from church who couldn't afford any "extras" for their simple union. The pastor's wife called to order a single tier cutting cake to be paid for by the church, but I was so touched, I decided to do this cake instead! A 6/8 banana cake with cream cheese buttercream filling and icing. All cornelli lace with reverse shell borders. They didn't have a topper, so the pastor's wife requested "God Bless Your Union" be written on the top of the cake.
