I have good days and bad days in the kitchen...this was a good day.  Buttercream smoothed right out.  I use the viva paper towel method of smoothing with this buttercream recipe.

My butter cream still does not come out so clean.

Thanks, Anne.  It was just a quick little cake.  I went into the post office to mail cookies to my future son-in-law and the post mistress placed an order for a cake for someone who was leaving.  I love orders like that!
