My interpretation of the cabbage rose from Maggie Austin's Craftsy tutorial. Made with home made gumpaste, also using Maggie Austin's recipe, which works terrific, by the way!! Dusted with different shades of yellow & orange petal dust, then sprayed with Wilton pearl spray. My first cabbage rose!

LOL! I told you, the key to sugar patience is to work on multiple pieces at the same time. That way you always have something that is ready :o)
This is absolutely beautiful, Bonnie and a lot bigger than I realized! This is going to be so pretty on a cake! Needs a few leaves to go with it :o) It's not just the tutorial that helped you. You are finally growing some patience and it is required to make realistic sugar flowers.
