Thanks Inoka, and Mike!!
wow, your cake is so pretty!
Beautiful cake Bonnie.
Thanks Betty! The rose turned out this way because I am no good at turning down the petal tips, as I roll up the flower...as in the instructions! So for all the other big fingered bafoons out there, sometimes not being able to do something a certain way, is ...., well, OK! lol Different is sometimes, even often, better! ho ho ho
Thanks June, I am rather proud of this rose, and the color turned out just about perfect, for a change. lol.
Lovely cake Bonnie and that rose is beautiful ...I need one of them...:))
Thanks guys, I thought it, the rose, turned out pretty good too! And I probably will never be able to get that color again, boohooohoo... :o) The rosettes were actually very quick & easy!
Goreti, I think part of why it looks different is that as I was rolling it, I was , not intentionally, squeezing it, & so the center was working it's way up! lol
Bonnie, that rose is so much better than the others I have seen using that cutter. The color is gorgeous too.
This is a perfectly lovely cake, Bonnie! Super job for your first time doing rosettes....not ovals like mine :o) The rose is gorgeous, the color and the form. That new cutter is going to be a winner, me thinks!
