Top tier was toffee sponge with apple and caramel filling. Bottom tier was death by chocolate cake with a peppermint cream filling. All the flowers were sugar and took around 25 hours to make. Well worth the effort as it won the Scottish Baking Award Sugarcraft cake last week.
