Lilacs in bloom. I have been wanting to try lilacs for quite some time. I love the way this cake turned out. (Inspired by a cake by Cupcake Cafe in NYC)

Thank you, Sherry. Yes, lilacs have been blooming for a while here, too. They are my favorite flower, that is why I had to put them on a cake.
