Fondant Human Heart
My first "human heart". This cake was done for the amazing surgeon who did my husband's open heart surgery a few weeks ago. The heart is made of fondant. Not quite accurate or exactly the correct size but I did my best and the doctor thought it was perfect!

Thanks very much June. Yes the surgeon said he thought it was awesome and of course that made me feel wonderful.

I think your "heart" looks great. Don't think the surgeon probably cared if it was "anatomically" correct. I'm thinking he was pleased as punch to get the cake...and was impressed by how the heart looked & how the whole cake looked & tasted good. :o)
