Fairy Birthday cake

Most special cake I have ever made! Created for a young woman turning 18, this cake was donated through the group Icing Smiles, which pairs bakers with critically ill children and their families. I made this for Hannah; as she is blind, I made sure the cake was very tactile so she could 'see' it through touch. Her parents have always called her their little fairy, so it was a perfect theme. As she was not expected to survive past the age of 3, turning 18 was truly a miracle. I feel blessed to be able to have made her cake.
