I enjoyed making the cards, and poker chips, well until my fine point markers dried out on me and I had to use the thicker markers.

I want so much to do cakes with clean butter cream icing like Edna De La Cruz in her tutorials with no lines or imperfections.

I have never tried rice paper - so can't give any advice...sorry.

The cake looks fantastic. I am trying out rice paper on buttercream, but find that it tends to lift up at the edges. Any advice?

Thanks Joyce, the cards were a bit of a challenge.  An easy way of doing the cards is to get them printed on editable paper and then apply them to the fondant and you got cards that will be much like the real ones.

Awesome job!  I too just did a James Bond Cake...enjoyed doing it.  I wasn't brave enough to attempt the cards though...you did amazing at them!
