Hi Jennifer!  This is my first time here on the page for NY Cake Decorators, so I just saw your note re' classes.  I'd like to let you know that there will be a cupcake competition and show in Beacon, NY on September 17, 2011.  There will be top-notch teachers teaching classes such as Buttercream Flowers of Each of the Months of the Year, Fall Figure Piping, Sculpted and Shaped Cupcakes, lots of great and wonderful hand molding classes and much more.  Please visit the official website for all the information:  www.shavkin.com  Registration for classes, entries and attendee registration begins July 15, but the info is up there, now.

The class are:

4:30pm - 6:30pm  and 7-9pm on Friday 9/16.  That's a total of 6 classes for Friday.

There are also classes on Saturday as well as demonstrations.

 

No, you do not have to enter.  If you take classes, you do need to get the "Attendee Registration" which is $25.00 and includes being badged, getting a truly nice goody bag and five free demonstrations.  Otherwise, the demos are $10.00 each.  Luck's sent me fab some including unbelievable items for the goodie bags.  I might even be able to give each person two of these Luck's items.  Please go to www.shavkin.com for info, forms, etc.
