Hi Shallena, thanks for your kind comments. Besides making my own kids (3 boys) cakes for the past 10 years I've been decorating for friends and family for about 6 months. Have learned heaps from the internet and books. I love being creative.

I starting baking about 7 years ago, you know, the occasional holiday dessert. But, I only started "decorating" cakes 2 months ago. I'm so addicted now. I've always had a desire to decorate cakes but never got a real "burning" desire until the beginning of the year. I started with my dad's b-day cake (the motorcyle one) and I now look for any excuse to do one :) The cupcakes I did this week for the heck of it! It's my outlet, my stress reliever! We have tons of classes around here but they are so expensive. I've just self taught using the internet ( cakecentral and youtube mainly). I'd love to take a class on sugarpaste flowers though!! Where are you from?
