    Thanks Gail! No, no molds, only my hands...Unfortunately, i live in a country where cake decorating hasn't grown into people,and there aren't many possibilities...you cant even buy the basic tools easily,either you don't have the money, or you don't have WHERE to buy them...Complicated! Although - I do my best, and trying to learn as much as i am able to.

    I know that there are many sites that offer all those wondrful molds, spent many sleepless nights  looking at them. A friend from France brought me some food grade silicone, and I managed to make a few myself. Let me send you a link with the photos

    Hey Gail I have trouble writing free hand on the cakes do you any suggestions? I've tried using a icing pen I got from target it's too bulky I want my writing too be nice looking. HELP!!!

    Thank you for your kind comments.  Most of these cakes were my first tries at decorating.   I've only made a few this year, I do not make wedding cakes anymore, although I loved the challenges they presented.

    A belated Happy Birthday.  I can understand  your hesitation in taking on too many orders , work like yours is really time consuming.  And, as you mentined, you have a health condition that may keep you from doing as much as you would like to do.  I myself am quite a bit older and have been doing this for 37 years.  I am just recently experiancing some health problems and have cut down on the amount of baking I would normally be doing.  I haven't even taken the xmas cookie orders I normally do.   But I love looking at the wonderful work some of the decoraters on this site have completed.  There is a lot of great work here.

    Thanks.  Most of them were done using tutorials online.  I love doing gumpaste flowers but I need to practice more on buttercream & royal icing.  Your flowers are looking good.  Keep it up.
