No i have not gotten a job yet. I graduated from culinary school at MTI on the 29th. I am hoping to find a baking apprenticeship or other entry level position. How long have you been away from bradenton?

My mother decorated cakes when we were in Canada and I always loved to bake. I took a few Wilton classes so I could learn how to do flowers and work with fondant. For about a year I have been taking orders for cakes. I have one to do for a wedding-so excited.

Most of the time, I make my cakes from scratch. I did recently try out the WASC recipe on this site and that was the first time I ever made a recipe with a mix. I do have mixes here because the kids always want to bake, but I've been baking since I was 8, so I really don't think twice about it.

My mother was always baking. I watched her decorate cakes most of my life. I took some Wilton classes to pass the time and voila. I love to bake! Cookies, brownies, cakes. I am in search of Publix icing. It is awesome. Do you have a recipe that can measure up???
