This sounds great. I am glad to see the interest is there. Now we just need to work out the details. I am on vacation right now, and when I get back this week, I will try and figure some things out. I hope we can set something up to get started with our first cake in mid August, does that sound good with everyone?

Hey everyone I have been on vacation. Does anyone have an idea of where we could meet? I would like to have something at the end of August. Maybe the weekend of the 21st or 28th. Since it seems most of us are either on the Northshore or westbank it seems we need to meet in the middle. I wish I had a house that would be able to host it at, but I don't. Any thoughts? Also I was thinking about a project we could do. How about our first cake, be our choice of reciepe, so we can taste each others cake. But the cakes all have the same Theme..... How does Saints sounds?? Or do you guys want to do something else. These are all just my thoughts, if you guys have any other thoughts please don't hesitate to throw them out there. At our first gathering we can decide on furture ideas.

OK......lets do this.......August 28th......Saints Theme......OK? Andrea Ordoyne where r u located? I would love to host it but my house wont be ready by then. We should really set something up.... and maybe just a single tier, depending on how many "Sign Up" to attend......

Ok, lets do this... Aug 28th, Saints theme, 8" single tier recipe of your choice. I have plenty of ideas..... we need a head count, all cakes should be brought in
a cake box with nowindow. We could have several fun activities.....Just for FUN!!!!!!!! An annoynomous cake contest ... when u arrive you and ur cake receive a number and NO cakes will be revealed until all have arrived. Then we all vote for our favorite cake.....also we could have a most devoured cake contest...... Everyone could bring a inexpensive cake item (tool,decoration, misc) and these could be used as our prizes.......these are just a few ideas......let me know what u think.......as for LOCATION.....if we dont have one by Monday the 16th we should think of a local resturant and make it a luncheon........if I can be of any help getting things going and organized let me know.......
