I live in Hillsborough, NH and just started about 2 years ago and bake cakes on the side...Absolutely love working with fondant. I noticed someone in Stoddard which is one town over and would love to meet you sometime and share tricks of the trade.

Hi, Cynthia. Welcome. I'm in Milford, right down the road from you. I love your burger cake. What's the top bun made from, and how did you get it to sit at such an angle?

Hi Marilyn. Thank you. This is a carrot cake.... all three layers. I placed the top layer on a cake board and wrapped top edge in fondant to give the layer support then I just leaned it against the cake. The board really wasn't seen.

Hi Wendy! Where in NH are you moving to? When you get here, I would be happy to get together with you. I am a transplant too. I am originally from NJ. I have been wanting to get together with other cake artists/decorators from NH for a while. I'm a self taught artist doing this for over 30 years. I am always looking to learn new things. Contact me when you get here.
