Hi Anne-Marie!! I have been very busy making cakes and watching my Granddaughter! This weekend I will be taking a class with Jennifer Dontz. We will be learning how to make 5 different flowers out of gumpaste. Really looking forward to it! What about you?

I agree, Misty! She can have our snow *grin* Although, it is almost more dangerous to drive in NC when it snows. They don't get much, but everyone freaks out, lol! We have MI friends who moved to Raleigh about 8 years ago ... they used to laugh at how everything just shut down with a small amount of snow .... now they have become just like everyone else!
So ... I have 4 cakes this week - the most I've ever had in one week. Wish me luck!! :)

Happy Holidays fellow Michiganders.
I thought it was time to change our profile picture. In doing so, I thought it would be neat if perhaps we changed it every once in a while. Also, since this site belongs to all of Michiganders :) I thought it would be nice to post more than just my cakes and creations as a profile picture. So if you would like one of your cake / creations used for an up coming profile picture please let me know, and we'll make it happen :)

I am new to cake decorating and want to decorate cookies! I would love to do a cake for my brothers 65th birthday, December 16th, I am planning it, any tips. I have wiltons beginner book. Wilton Tips. Anyway, I will enjoy creating, learning from others on the way.
