Colleen..thanks for All the details on Kitchen Aid even if it disappointing :( All my pots & pans are even Kitchen Aid.... I did not realize they had sold out not once but twice :( I'll tell my son to keep an eye out for his, and to keep the warranty handy.

Welcome Anne-Marie..If your new to the site also?..I sure hope you enjoy it as much as I've been. I recently found this site myself and find it like cake decorating..very addicting :) I have wedding shower this weekend to prepare for and I work during the day...so sad to say I'm not on as often ...or for as long as I would like to be. Next week might be a whole other story.lol. Nonetheless, welcome to our Michigan Group :)

How will it hold up for bread dough? I considered the Cuisinart over the Viking. I make IMBC for most of my cakes so it's running for at least 15min at a time and the KA motor always got hot. Also, is it quiet? The KA drove me crazy it was so noisy!! Thanks for your input.
Where are you in Michigander land?

I hope I can still join the group. I've been a Michigander all my life, until a year ago because of the economy! I miss the Great Lakes like you wouldn't believe!

I am new to cake decorating, does Michigan have any cake clubs or cake shows that we can all go too?

It's good to see so many folks in Michigan are into cake decorating. I'm just starting out and am having a blast with it.
