Star Wars birthday for my boyfriend's nephew. Chewie is chocolate cake with ganache and modeling chocolate, with gumpaste hat and eyes. Han is a pan of Rice Krispie Scotcheroos covered in ganache with modeling chocolate figure and accents, painted with moonstone lustre dust.

What a fantastic idea for a group!  The only geeky cake I've made so far was more of a military geek cake.  I'm hankering to do a Periodic Table of Elements cake. Love the Minstry of Silly Walks cake topper on the groups picture :)

But I'm about to do a troll and fairy cake for the end of the month so will post once it is done.

I couldn't wait for the finished cake as it is 10 days away and I've finished the troll.  His leg has broken though so I'm gonna have to come up with a patch to cover the join.  Any ideas?
