Nancy yes we are. Strange how two girls from small towns that are so close to each other meet on a website. It's a small world.

it sure is. I'm out here off of Pink Hill rd. Do you ever go into the Cake Pan in Blue Springs? Kathy the owner and i are friends.

Yes, I love the Cake Pan. Have been there many times. Kathy is a very sweet lady, always freindly and eager to help out. Whenever I need an edible image that is where I go. I have also rent a few pans from her.

The Cake Pan is as close to heaven on earth as possible for me! I love that place. I could spend hours just looking around there.

Hi Missouri Cake Decorators!  I'm Carolyn and I'm from Excelsior Springs, MO - just 30 miles NE of KC.  I belong to a cake club in the North area near the airport if any of you are close enough and interested.  We have a great group.  Are all of you ICES members??  Do you all know about the upcoming Missouri ICES Day of Sharing in Independence, MO on May 1??  If not, let me know (bridal1@aol.com) and I will send you the information.  It's an all day cake decorating event and there will be cakes on display as well as cake demos all day plus an auction of cake goodies.  It is a lot of fun and you meet a lot of great cake decorators from all over Missouri.

Hello Carolyn

Thanks for the info on the Missouri Ices Day of Sharing.  I was wondering if it is possible to just come and look at the cakes on display.  I am involved in my daughters 4H and I have a group of 4 girls that I am helping with cake decorating.  I would love to be able to bring them to see all the cakes.
