Diana, I have seen work that you do. You have NOTHING to beat yourself up about. Like everyone has said. We all have bad cake days. I was helping a customer out with a cake on a windy day.....the top blew up and the cake fell out of my hands, turned upside down (still in the box though). the whole thing was smashed. I was able to salvage it and delivered it to the house. How do you think that cake looked?????????

I didn't see the cake, but you know what the say, "you are your own worst critic." Add a bunch of snobs to the mix and it can be hell on earth. Take a deep breath and relax. Did they ask for a refund? If not, I wouldn't offer one without a complaint, it doesn't make sense. If you get a complaint, you already have in your mind to refund part of the money, so then you can do that.
We all have bad days, trust me, I've sure had my share.
