Winnie the Pooh Cake

I'm making a Winnie the Pooh cake for my son's first birthday. I want to have some figures of the characters. Anyone have any tips on doing the fondant characters of Winnie the Pooh and his friends?

We are thinking two stacked tiers covered in green fondant with a hunny pot on top (rice crispy treats covered/decorated in fondant) with Pooh Bear coming out of the hunny pot. I want to have maybe some of his friends around the lower tier and some yellow flowers or daisies.
