Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This is my second batch first one was rock hard as I mixed it up. The second was softer but became very hard as soon as I placed it in the plastic zip bag the glucose was very thick not like corn syrup very stiff and gooey the recipe is 1 TBSP gum-tex in 4 cups sifted icing sugar,1 heaping teaspoon wilton glucose in 4 tablespoons warm water microwaved for 30 seconds and added to sifted dry ingredients am I missing something?Can anyone give suggestions TKS
