What is the best quality material for silver cake stands/plateaus?
I need to order a cake stand and have found silver-plated, stainless steel and aluminum on-line in a wide range of prices. A local cake shop has a silver-plated one for sale that is already very tarnished. What type is going to hold up the weight of a heavy cake and stay beautiful for a long time? If you have one, I'd appreciate opinions, either good or bad. Pictures of what you are talking about would be extremely helpful, too.

If you get real silver unless you keep it polished it will look tarnished. These are not real silver and do not tarnish
