Oh Yes...I too am looking for a Fabulous Vanilla Cake recipe that is very moist.... Haven't had much success on the Vanilla cake recipes I have...Not as moist as I would like it...

http://www.designmeacake.com/wasccrec.html  I doubled the vanilla and omitted the almond extract for this recipe..it's really good! dense and moist.  Not sure if it's too dense for a cupcake though..

Than you Lisa B I made this cake before, but never cupcakes.. I got the recipe from here, the cake was delicious. moist and tasty..!!
