Vanilla Beans
Last March I made vanilla from the beans and volka. The bottle is almost gone can I keep useing those beans and add more volka? How do you know when they are bad? I ordered these beans online.

I just add more Ever Clear to mine as it gets low. Occasionally I add a few more vanilla beans to freshen it up. I would guess that the alcohol preserves it pretty good. Each batch made from the same old beans always is very rich in flavor. Maybe someone else can give you a more definitive answer as far as going bad. (I've been using this bottle for about a year now)
