I would love everyone to weigh in on transporting your cakes and why you do it the way you do.
I know alot of you transport your cakes fully assembled and stacked with a dowel down the middle, while others prefer to transport single tiers and stack and assemble at the venue.
I will be doing a 4 tier wedding cake in July, sizes will be 6, 10, 14, 18. The 6 and 14" tiers will have satin ribbon around them and the other 2 tiers will have fresh lemon and lime half moons around them. The event will be approximately 45 minutes from my house. How would you transport and why? thanks everyone! I love to hear people's oppinions!
