TLC Cake Audition
Hi there. I hope everyone is well. I was reading about the TLC audition. I just wanted to wish anyone luck who sent in an audition video. I sent one in. You can google Jay Qualls TLC audition or Maples Wedding Cakes Audition to check it out. Who knows what will happen. Waiting....waiting.....waiting. I hope I hear something soon. Good luck everyone.

Hmmm... sounds like I might possibly be too late :-( Oh well, I will see what I can find out. Either way, hope it all works out for you! If you end up on the show, I will certainly be watching!!! :-)

I honestly don't know if they are still casting. From what I understand, they were casting last week and then they were going to pitch that group to the Exec. Producers. From that group, they were going to pick 15 to do a meet and greet in NY with the Exec. Producers. From that 15, they are going to pick 10 to be on the show.
I got an email from a casting agent. I'm not sure where you would go to see if they are still accepting audition videos or not. I will do sme checking. This is an awesome site! I had no idea it existed. I'm glad I ran across it. Thank you for your support. I hope I make it and I think you should take a shot at it! What do you have to lose? If they don't choose me, someone will eventually! I'm going to do this or die trying! LOL

Jay the video was so funny... I loved your "Suga" She was beautiful!!! So did the email you got tell you what the next step is for you? I think it is great that they are doing this really hope to see you on TLC.

I'm about 30 miles southeast of Nashville in Murfreesboro, TN. My address is on my website at www.maplesweddingcakes.com. My cell number is 615-396-7378 if you want to call me and you are close and want to stop by and visit our shop. We are open by appointment only but are there most Thursday's and Fridays. I usually try and take Monday off but find myself working from home anyway. Would love to meet you.

Well is that far from I 65? That is the route I am taking to get to Indanapolis to visit some family. I am hoping to be around Nashville for around lunch time. But who knows, I want to be on the road for no later then 6am, I am sure it would be a late lunchtime, but hope that is when I stop for lunch. I could always make that stop in your area and meet up with you after. I would love to meet you. I am only going to be through there on Monday. I plan to take another route home so we can see other places like St Louis and Memphis. I am going to try and make the whole trip to Indy in one day, at least I hope. But take 2 days to come back. Nashville and a stop in Kentucky was all I wanted to see along 65. Well if you think on Monday you could, we can meet up. That would be fun. I put your number in my phone I will text you later with mine if that is okay, so you can save it and know a 504 number is me.... Thanks, hope to see you and Suga next week!!!!

My friend, Carrie got a call yesterday asking for a video by Thursday so she is bustin her tail to get one put together. This would be so fun... bad timing for me so maybe next time. Jay.. if we could vote I am sure you'd be there! You never know exactly what they are looking for. I watched several of the videos and to be honest turned off several of them because they were boring and did not keep my attention... and I believe that you must keep someone's attention if you are going to be on TV... they want someone that people will come back looking for more... not turn the TV off half way through. I can see Jay keeping the audinece lauging and having fun with the show!!!

Thank you. This isn't my first audition with TLC either. I think they put you under time constraints like that to see how quick you are on your feet. I think it is a test honestly. I hope I make it. Still waiting. I hope your friends makes it too. I'm sure she would be great. I need to go on and watch some of the auditions. I will try and do that tonight. Chat more soon. Jay
