I just came across this handy excel sheet on Facebook today. The page is called 'The Ganacherator' and is dedicated to the excel sheet for calculating the amount of chocolate and cream you will need to fill and cover a cake!
You enter you measurements in the pink boxes (if you download the excel sheet for office 2010 or higher you will need to enable editing) and voila! It gives you how much dark/milk or white chocolate and cream you will need!
